What subjects do you offer classes in?
We offer tutoring in a wide range of subjects, including financial literacy, technology/computer skills, Artificial Intelligence, science, and math
Are sessions conducted online or in-person?
Sessions are conducted online as Live Classes that meet 1x per week for 45 minutes OR Self-Paced Courses that can be completed on a student's schedule. Students will have direct access to their learning coach for questions and guidance throughout both Live Classes and Self-Paced Courses
What is included in a Self-Paced Course?
Self-Paced Courses are flexible learning opportunities during which a student will first watch a lesson, created by the founder of Thrive Virtual Academy: Mr. Patch Kulp. Then, upon completion of the lesson, each student will be invited to completed an activity that will connect the material in the lesson to a real life scenario or decision. Students are encouraged to think critically, solve problems, and build life changing knowledge in our key subjects.
What is included in a Live Class?
In a Live Class, students meet with a group of no more than 15 students and engage in a content rich, discussion and project based class designed to apply one of our foundational subjects to real life scenarios. Students will also receive an at home project, which will connect the material learned in class to a real life situation where they are also invited to include the whole family (Fun for all!).
What if my student wants to take multiple classes?
We offer a variety of membership options based on your family's needs and desires for your student's education. Our team of learning coaches customize a plan which may include: One Live or Self-Paced Class, a Monthly Membership with access to some Live Classes or Self-Paced Classes, or an Unlimited Membership Package with access to all classes of all subjects.
