MEET THE FOUNDER & CEO
Hey, I'm Patch!
I serve as Founder and Lead Teacher of Thrive Virtual Academy. My background uniquely integrates education, entrepreneurship, and fatherhood.
First, I hold my Washington State teaching credential and have taught in brick-and-mortar classrooms, online schools, and tutored students one-on-one and in small groups for the last 12 years. In 2020, I left the traditional classroom because I could not answer this question:

Since 2020, Thrive Virtual Academy has changed lives and impacted over 5500 students. Beyond Thrive Virtual Academy, I am a father to 3 children: Declan (4), Graham (2), and Piper (6 months). I started Thrive Virtual Academy to revitalize the traditional education system through merging real life skills with financial, artificial intelligence, and STEM education. We seek to re-invent the way that students learn through application, project-based strategies, and future thinking mentality.
